About the Group

Initially started as an effort of the ACI-NA Environmental Affairs and Operations and Technical Affairs Committees, the ACI-NA Sustainability Integration Team (SIT) serves the airport industry through specific initiatives that are tailored to the industry and created for the purpose of defining aviation sustainability as a business strategy that promotes the core benefits of economic viability, operational efficiency, natural resource conservation, and social responsibility.

In 2007, the ACI-NA Airport Sustainability Integration Steering Team (ASIST) was established to help educate and promote sustainability concepts across all ACI-NA standing committees, and thus all aspects of airport planning, operation, and management.  The ASIST Charter can be viewed here.

The ASIST is comprised of one representative from each ACI-NA standing committee.  Its members include:
