Statistics and Research
ACI-NA works closely with
its members to conduct a variety of surveys and research and translates
industry statistics into materials used by colleagues throughout the aviation
industry, including Congress, the media and members.
Traffic Reports:
Important annual airport statistics break down total passengers, total cargo
and total aircraft movements. These statistics are reported by our world
headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Read more.
ACI-NA E-Library:
ACI-NA E-Library houses the presentations
(2002-Present) made at ACI-NA conferences by airport and associate members, as
well as ACI-NA staff. Conferences are
listed under the year they took place; all presentations from that conference
will be shown on the screen. You can also search for information spanning the
aviation spectrum, either by selecting a specific category or conducting a
keyword search.

Economic Studies:
Our nation's economic
well-being becomes more and more dependent upon airports and the aviation
system. In fact, the U.S. Department of Transportation and others have
conducted studies that show for every $1 billion invested in airport
development, approximately 40,000 to 50,000 jobs are created and sustained,
with related multiplier spending and tax revenue benefits for local, state and
federal governments. Read more.
Research:
Airport and aviation
research is conducted by ACI-NA, as well as the Federal Aviation
Administration, U.S. Government Accountability Office and the Transportation
Research Board. Read
