Airport planning is a unique enterprise that requires a broad set of specialized skills and knowledge.  These skills extend across the fields of planning, engineering, environmental science, financial planning, economics, community outreach, airport operations, and technology.  Staying on the cutting edge of all of these areas is difficult for event the most experienced and dedicated airport planners.  This event will provide aviation professionals with information regarding best practices, processes, and guidance regarding airport planning that they can use to make their planning efforts more successful.  It will also provide insight into near and long-term trends that are changing the way in which airport planning will be done in the future.
