Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2006) - Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) announced today the addition of Deborah Costolo McElroy as Senior Vice President, Government Affairs. McElroy currently serves as president of the Regional Airline Association (RAA), a Washington, D.C.-based trade association that represents the interests of short-haul scheduled airlines and their supplier companies. We are really excited to have such a well-recognized and respected leader in Washington, D.C., aviation circles join our team, said Greg Principato, ACI-NA President. "Debby has an admirable track record of achievement on behalf of regional airlines and is well-known for her lobbying and policy expertise. With such an important year coming up for the aviation industry, we're pleased that Debby will be advocating for airports."

McElroy will begin her new role at ACI-NA in mid-December. She will be overseeing the management of ACI-NA's Government Affairs Department and will manage the efforts of a lobbying firm on behalf of ACI-NA. She will also be involved in policy and message development.

In her position at RAA, McElroy has conducted Capitol Hill lobbying for the association and acted as RAA spokesman with the aviation and general press, related government agencies and aviation organizations. She has developed and implemented association policy on a wide variety of regulatory issues.

McElroy is the 2006 President of the Board of Governors for the Aero Club of Washington.
