Washington, D.C. (Oct. 23, 2007) - Airports Council International - North America (ACI-NA) issued the following statement today regarding President Bush's nomination of Bobby Sturgell Oct. 23 as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator:

 

"We support President Bush's decision to nominate Bobby Sturgell for FAA Administrator," said ACI-NA President Greg Principato. "He has done a wonderful job as Acting Administrator, Deputy Administrator and Acting COO. He understands the challenges and issues facing the airport industry, making his nomination particularly well-deserved."
