Columbus Hires New Business Development Manager


COLUMBUS
, Ohio – Dec. 12 - The Columbus Regional Airport Authority recently named Columbus resident Todd Carter as its new Business Development Manager effective December 15. Based at Port Columbus International Airport, Carter is responsible for helping the Airport Authority achieve its mission to provide high quality, affordable air service for millions of Central Ohio residents.

 

“Todd Carter’s broad airline and corporate travel experience will help advance air service opportunities for airlines as well as the business and leisure travelers using our airports,” said David Whitaker, Vice President of Business Development & Communications for the Airport Authority.

 

Carter logged 12 years with America West Airlines working in both the airport operations and sales divisions. For the last 10 years he managed corporate travel initiatives for BCD Travel as Director of Account Management. Carter’s impressive portfolio of corporate clientele included Abercrombie and Fitch, Nationwide Insurance, American Electric Power, Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and many others.

 

“The Columbus air service market is strong and I look forward to continuing the Airport Authority’s extensive efforts in maximizing its potential,” said Carter.

 

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority operates Port Columbus International, Rickenbacker International and Bolton Field airports, focusing primarily on passenger service, air cargo service and general aviation respectively.
