Manchester Airport Again Earns FAA’s Best Certification
MANCHESTER, N.H. – May 1 -The Federal Aviation Administration recently completed its annual inspection of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, and for the fourth consecutive year, found no discrepancies. The airport certification inspection takes place over a three-day period and includes an assessment of all airport operations and facilities, aircraft rescue firefighting, fueling procedures, training and record keeping.
Last year, the airport received an FAA Safety Award for operational excellence in recognition of three consecutive years of clean inspections. This year, the airport received high praise from the FAA for operational protocols that have lead to continued success. Airport Director Mark Brewer commented that “We have an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated staff here at the airport. Their pride and dedication is demonstrated in their work, the end result of which can be seen each day by all of our valued customers and visitors.”
