Denver Chophouse Opens in Denver Airport

DENVER -
April 21 – Today marks the grand opening of the Denver ChopHouse & Brewery at Denver International Airport.  Passengers and employees at DIA now have a new option for enjoying more local flavor at the new Denver ChopHouse & Brewery in the center core of Concourse A.  The ChopHouse is the latest addition to DIA’s growing list of local restaurants, which includes Tamales by La Casita, New Belgium Hub Brewery and the Boulder Beer Tap House.

This popular bar and eatery is part of the Denver-based Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc. – and has been part of the Denver restaurant scene for more than 14 years.  Designed to evoke the feeling of a 1940s pub, the ChopHouse at DIA features exposed brick and wood tones against a backdrop of ‘40s-era Big Band beats.  The ChopHouse menu runs the gamut from hearty breakfasts like the “Brewer’s Breakfast” (diners can order the beer extra) to entrees such as filet mignon, sirloin steak, grilled chicken and bison burgers, as well as a selection of salads and appetizers for those who don’t have time for a full meal.

A rotating seasonal selection of at least six ChopHouse brews will be on tap, including an American Pale Ale and a Bavarian-style Dark Munich Lager.  The ChopHouse also offers domestic and imported wines and a selection of classic and modern cocktails.  Entrees from the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus can be ordered “to go” for passengers who want to take a taste of Denver with them.

DIA’s concessions program consists of 167,457 square feet of retail space that includes more than 140 merchants offering an exciting culinary, fashion and retail experience.  The concessions program generates over $251 million in annual gross sales and over $40 million in revenue to the airport.
