Bob Hope Airport Launches New Platinum Valet Parking Service

BURBANK
, Calif. -- March 30 — Bob Hope Airport will begin offering customers of its popular valet parking service a new Platinum Valet Service on April 1 that will feature key enhancements, including express drop-off, guaranteed covered parking, dedicated attendant and baggage handling, and express pick-up and cashier service. The new service will cost $30 per day, $10 more than normal valet parking at the Airport.

“Our standard Gold Valet Service in front of the terminal at $20 per day has a devoted following, but some customers have told us they would like to have the option of choosing quicker service with a premium covered space, so we have put together a program to meet those needs,” said Len Silvernail, Director of Operations and Maintenance.

Airport guests desiring Platinum Valet Service will find a dedicated Platinum Service lane as they enter the Valet Parking Center located directly in front of the terminal. Platinum attendants will be waiting to greet them and offer baggage assistance to the terminal as requested. Upon return guests can call the 800 number on their ticket or show the ticket to any Platinum attendant for prompt and careful retrieval.

“Platinum customers can feel comfortable knowing that their vehicle is being handled with the utmost care. Bob Hope Airport is known for its service, convenience and hospitality, and our new Platinum Valet Service is a direct outgrowth of seeking better ways to serve our customer,” Silvernail said.

Bob Hope Airport is one of the largest airport valet parking operators in the country, handling over 1,000 cars on an average business day. The service first began in 1990 and found ready acceptance among Bob Hope Airport travelers who value convenience and favor shorter trips along the West Coast.
