ACI Training
In addition to its schedule of conferences throughout the year, ACI-NA offers a variety of training classes to airport executives via programs offered by Airports Council International.
On the ACI website, its Global Training Hub provides information on training opportunities, including a number of on-line courses.
Its programs include the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP), which is the first global program of its kind. Its successful completion leads to the International Airport Professional (IAP) designation. AMPAP is the world’s only course-based accreditation program for airport executives delivered both face-to-face and online.
The Fall 2007 edition of Centerlines included a story on the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme and the enrollment of several executives from ACI-NA member airports.
Another program, the Airport Executive Leadership Programme (AELP), was developed in collaboration with the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montréal. It is a unique, career-building opportunity for future leaders of the global airport industry. Successful participants receive a joint ACI/JMSB-Concordia University diploma.
ACI also offers 29 certificate courses and 12 of these courses are now available on-line.
