FAA Issues Two Airport Safety Draft Advisories
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued two draft
advisory circulars: AC No. 150/5200-31B Airport Emergency Plan and AC No.
150/5210-14B Airport Fire and Rescue Equipment, Tools and Clothing
ACI-NA is accepting comments from members on both advisory circulars. Industry comments are due to FAA by March 26.
The Airport Emergency Plan draft advisory circular provides updated guidance on developing and implementing an airport emergency plan. The Airport Fire and Rescue Equipment, Tools and Clothing draft advisory circular provides guidance concerning minimum requirements for selection and performance standards for airport fire and rescue equipment, tools and clothing.
