Overview

Join more than 200 of the Canadian airport industry's most influential leaders, as well as senior government officials at Airports Canada Conference and Exhibition. The two-day event is a targeted opportunity for key decision-makers to share ideas, and to get the latest intelligence on the best strategic and operational tools and practices in the world. Expert opinions will be expressed on topics such as:

'Canada's Aviation Sector in the World Context: By the Numbers' will examine aviation and tourism industry metrics, highlighting current developments and anticipated trends as Canada strives to become a global leader in aviation through the planning, development and operation of world class facilities.

Three Canadian airports will share their unique perspectives of growth, such as maintaining and growing a major airport amid modern environmental challenges, the rapid rise of an intra-urban airport and the impacts of energy-filled growth in Alberta's "boom town" in a discussion about 'The Challenges of Growth, the Growth of Challenges'.

Business and recreational aviation, cargo, military operations and aerospace manufacturing are important segments of the industry that often receive less attention. 'The Friends and Neighbours' will discuss parts of their business in greater detail and share their insights with the aviation community.

Passengers interact with airports, air carriers, government agencies and food and beverage vendors in the curb-to-plane experience. This panel will talk about their distinguished role as 'Partners in the Passenger Chain' and how they manage operations to ensure the most pleasant airport and travel experience for all air travellers.

Canadian airlines are making moves to strengthen their position as global players in the airline industry. Hear from Air Canada president and CEO Calin Rovinescu and WestJet president and CEO Gregg Saretsky in a session titled ‘Canada’s Airlines at the Dawn of a New Era’ and  find out what’s new, what’s coming, and what it means for Canada’s airports.

Guest Registration - A guest registration is available for $220.50 CAD (inclusive of 5% (GST) Goods and Services Tax ).  This registration allows for admittance and access to the exhibition floor receptions on Wednesday and Thursday and the Gala Dinner on Thursday only.  If a guest wishes to attend any educational programming, they must register for the full conference.

Each guest registrant must be the guest of a full conference registrant.  Guests cannot register on their own.  A guest is a spouse/significant other, friend or adult child who is not in an industry-related occupation.  A co-worker or associate within the industry may not use the guest registration category.  Be sure to fill in the guest's name where indicated on registration form. 

Cancellations
Must be submitted in writing to meetings@aci-na.org. Cancellation requests received by March  15, 2013 are subject to a $100 processing fee and will be processed after the meeting takes place. There will be no refunds after this date. Substitutions will be honored at any time and all no-shows will be billed.
