Small Airports Committee Soliciting Priorities for FAA Reauthorization

In anticipation of FAA reauthorization in 2015, the ACI-NA Government Affairs staff is working with various ACI-NA Committees to identify priorities and ideas.  As a result, the ACI-NA Small Airports Committee leadership is soliciting input from Committee members.

As you may know, the AAAE FAA Reauthorization Task Force recently underwent a similar exercise and issued a survey designed to elicit from their membership a list of priorities for reauthorization.

White both groups are already in agreement on a number of FAA reauthorization issues-such as increasing the Passenger Facility Charge to $8.50 and indexing it for inflation-the Small Airports Committee leadership is seeking input on other policy priorities important to small and non-hub airports and ask that you please submit information no later than Friday, July 18.

Both the ACI-NA and AAAE Government Affairs Committees are scheduled to hold a joint meeting on Monday, July 28 in Washington, D.C. (in conjunction with AAAE’s Summer Legislative Conference) to discuss preliminary results from both efforts.

Please contact ACI-NA’s Paul Eubanks with any additional questions.
