FAA Wants Comments on PFC Information Collections

Executive Summary: The FAA has published a notice in the Federal Register seeking public comment on the quarterly information collection activity required by the final rule authorizing airports to collect the Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) (14 CFR 158). This notice is published in order to renew the FAA's authority to collect information on PFC collections, which is required every three years.

Who is impacted: Any airport collecting PFCs.

Needed airport action: Airports are asked to provide the FAA with any comments about the information collection process including, but not limited to: (a) Whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for FAA's performance; (b) the accuracy of the estimated burden; (c) ways for FAA to enhance the quality, utility and clarity of the information collection; (d) ways that the burden could be minimized without reducing the quality of the collected information.
