2008 Capital Needs Survey Now Launched -- Please access the latest ACI-NA Capital Development Needs Survey Form to provide your input along with other ACI-NA member U.S. airports on airport development needs.
The information you provide will be a key component of our continued work for passage of a multi-year Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization bill, to ensure airports have adequate funding to enhance capacity. We have found that the data from our survey is critical in ensuring that policy-makers understand the complete development needs picture as part of their consideration of an increase in both the Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) user fee and Airport Improvement Program financing levels.
In order to download a copy of the survey in Excel, please click here.

ACI-NA Files Comments with FAA on PFC Program and Related Financing Rules
July 2007
Since its inception in 1990, Passenger Facility Charges (PFCs) have become the foundation of airport capital investment. These days, airports need to build more to meet the needs of nearly a billion passengers who are estimated to use the airports by 2015. Raising the PFC ceiling, as well as giving airports more freedom to manage their own PFC programs to meet individual airport needs, is one ACI-NAs top priorities during the FAA reauthorization process. The Status of PFCs in FAA Reauthorization presentation provides a summary of the legislative proposals released by the Administration, Senate and House of Representatives as they relate to PFCs.
