OVERVIEW

The ACI-NA Public Safety & Security Conference brings together airport officials, government officials, vendors, and consultants from across the United States and Canada to consider key aviation security and public safety issues and policies.   

The conference provides attendees the opportunity to interact directly with session presenters and to discuss both formally and informally with other attendees their questions, concerns, and ideas concerning public safety and security at airports.

NOTE: There will be an Airports Only Meeting on Tuesday, October 21 from 2:45 - 5:45 PM. In addition, there will be a special Accident Response Workshop on Wednesday, October 22 from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm. More details on these events soon.

 

SPONSORSHIP

ACI-NA will accept voluntary sponsorships for its conferences and events.  ACI-NA Members have first preference in sponsorship opportunities.  Sponsorship opportunities are officially open as of Monday, June 23, 2008.  All sponsorships will be available to ACI-NA Members on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be awarded by date and time stamp on reply e-mail or fax.  After Monday, August 25, 2008, any remaining sponsorship opportunities will be made available to non-members.  For more information on sponsorship opportunities for this meeting, please contact Amy Peters at (202) 293-8500 or apeters@aci-na.org.

REGISTRATION

Online registration for this event is now closed.

You may still register for this event onsite. The member rate is $650. The non-member rate is $975.

The onsite registration hours are as follows:

Monday, October 20 - 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
Tuesday, October 21 - 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

Registration for the Accident Response Workshop will be during the above hours as well as Wednesday, October 22 from 7:30 - 11:00 am.

CONFERENCE VENUE DETAILS

 

Conference Hotel:
All conference sessions will take place at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City Hotel.

Sleeping Room Reservations:
Please call (703) 415-5000 or toll-free at (800) 241-3333 to make room reservations. Be sure to identify yourself as being with Airports Council International - North America to receive the special rate of $249 USD single/double occupancy (plus applicable taxes).

Reservations may be made online at www.ritzcarlton.com. Be sure to enter the group code FPSFPSA when making your reservation.

The hotel cut-off date to make reservations at the group rate is Friday, September 26, 2008.

Reservations made after this date can only be accepted on a space & rate available basis. Please be advised that the hotel may sell out of rooms at the conference rate before the cut-off date. Make your reservations early!

Parking for guests is $18 USD daily and $29 USD overnight.
