OVERVIEW & PROGRAM

The second session of the 110th Congress will be crucial to the airport agenda as the House and Senate convene to discuss a variety of policy and financing issues. By attending the AAAE/ACI-NA Spring Washington Conference, you will help to advance airports' agenda on Capitol Hill and provide valuable input to your representatives in Washington.

The conference will discuss crucial security initiatives on Capitol Hill; FAA reauthorization; and the Department of Transportation and Department of Homeland Security appropriations bills that are vital to our industry.


The AAAE/ACI-NA Spring Washington Conference offers you the unique opportunity to hear from congressional leaders, as well as from congressional staff and key policymakers from the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security. Conference Hotel:

Hotel update as of Wednesday, February 13: the Renaissance Washington D.C. hotel is close to or already sold out on many nights of the conference.  Follow the instructions below to check availability.  If you are unable to secure a room at the renaissance, the Embassy Suites Washington, D.C.-Convention Center Hotel and the Grand Hyatt Washington, D.C. are the two closest hotels to the renaissance. 

Note that ACI-NA/AAAE does not have a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites or Grand Hyatt.  This information is provided as a courtesy only.

Call the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel at 1-800-HOTELS-1 or directly at 202-898-9000 to make room reservations.  Be sure to identify yourself as being with the 2008 ACI-NA /AAAE Spring Washington Conference to receive the special rate of $269 for single/double occupancy. 

The cutoff date to make reservations at the group rate is Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Reservations made after this date can only be accepted on a space- rate-available basis.  The hotel may sell out of rooms or the conference rate before the cutoff date. Make your reservations early!
