OVERVIEW
This is an
annual meeting providing a forum for airport board, commission and authority
members to meet and discuss complex issues related to the effective planning
and management of an airport and its responsibilities to the traveling public.
The conference will open with a welcome reception on Sunday evening, May 18 and
run all day Monday, May 19 and Tuesday, May 20.

Congressional Leadership Reception

Overview
Meet with airport leaders, government decision-makers,
members of Congress and their staffs to discuss critical legislation and
regulations impacting airports. This joint conference between ACI-NA and AAAE
is an annual event.
A primary purpose of the Commissioners Congressional Reception is to support
the ACI-NA Commissioners scholarship fund. The winners of the 2008 scholarship
will be recognized at the event. The reception also ties in the tradition of
honoring Members of Congress and the Administration for their support of
airports and air transportation. Finally, the reception is a tremendous
opportunity to socialize and network with Members of Congress, Congressional
staff, members of the Administration, and your fellow colleagues.
Registration
Registration for the conference does not include a ticket to the Commissioners
Congressional Reception. Separate ticket purchase is required.

Past Meetings
September 30, 2007- The Commissioners held full Committee, Steering Group, and Executive Committee meetings at the Annual ACI-NA Conference and Exhibition in Kansas City, Missouri.
June 24 – 26, 2007- The Airport Board Members and Commissioners’
Annual Conference was held in Atlanta,
GA.
March 25, 2007- The
Commissioners held Steering Group and Executive Committee meetings at the Spring
Legislative Conference. In addition, the Commissioners Leadership
Reception took place during this conference.
Note: Meetings of the
Commissioners’ Committee will be held at the Commissioners’ Conference, the
Annual ACI-NA Conference and Exhibition, and the Spring Legislative
Conference. In addition, there could be a meeting held at the Winter
Board Meeting and/or the Summer Legislative Conference per the Chairperson’s
direction.
