Join your fellow airport media relations and communications professionals for this one-of-a-kind seminar that offers information on the latest media trends and tools for effective crisis communication. Also held at The Westin Casuarina, this biennial seminar offers participants the opportunity to learn about exciting innovations in technology, and gain valuable on-camera media training. April 2010- Communications Contest Call for Entries
The “Excellence in Airport Marketing & Communications Contest” honors airport professionals that offer expertise and talent in a variety of categories including web site design, annual reports, newsletters, advertising campaigns, special event planning and more.
A major component of the contest is the judges’ selection of the recipient of the Peggy G. Hereford Excellence in Communications Award. This award symbolizes overall achievement in an airport’s marketing and public relations programs, honoring the creativity and effectiveness of the airport’s staff. June 6-9, 2010 - Marketing and Communications Conference & JumpStart® Air Service Development Program, San Diego, CA
To be held at The Westin San Diego, this is an annual conference for professionals in the airport marketing & communications discipline. The first two and a half days cover the various disciplines of marketing and communications including community relations, customer service, public relations, marketing, air service development and communications. The last day features the JumpStart® Air Service Development program, where airport representatives meet one-on-one with airline route professionals in an exhibition-like setting.
