The airside/airfield tour of Boston-Logan International Airport will feature recent airfield improvements including Logan’s new Runway 14-32 and this year’s midfield taxiway construction project.

Get a firsthand look at other innovative airfield safety and security improvements including two Engineered Material Arresting System (EMAS) installations, artificial turf areas currently in test phase, a pilot program for Logan’s Foreign Object Debris (FOD) system, fortified vehicle access gates, concrete security blast wall fencing along the airport’s landside perimeter, and a video intrusion detection system for the water-side perimeter of the airfield. This tour will also include a firsthand look at Logan’s state of the art In-Line Baggage Screening system and new Concessions program which focuses on eateries and offerings that incorporate local cuisine and attractions.
