Welcome
ACI-NA will publish a special convention daily e-newsletter, Boston Beacon, to keep you up-to-date on the proceedings of the ACI World/North America Conference and Exhibition in Boston. An e-mail blast will link to a special area of the ACI-NA website and will be e-mailed to ACI-NA members so even those not able to attend will be in the loop.
This edition is a preview of what will be taking place next week both inside and outside of the Hynes Convention Center. For those of you arriving early in the weekend, there is plenty to do right downtown.
Our live coverage begins Sunday evening and will continue with evening editions through Wednesday. There will be a comprehensive wrap-up edition on Oct. 3.

Did You Know?
Boston Brahmin
The term Boston Brahmin, which is an often used term for the city’s social elite, is thought to have its origins in 1852 with the American premiere of Brahms Second Symphony at the Orpheum Threatre. Many walked out on the performance, music reviewers dubbed those who stayed as “Brahmins.”
