Cliff Notes Available? The 693-page manual

Have you heard about the FAA’s updated and newly issued airport compliance manual?
There’s a new FAA airport compliance manual—-just out on Sept.30.
It’s 693 pages in length. We won’t be able to talk about the whole manual, but presentations by Monica Hargrove Kemp, General Counsel, ACI-NA and Jack Corbett, partner, Spiegel & McDiarmid will hit the high points, list some of the new additions, explain how it differs from the old manual, and even offer observations concerning portions of the manual that airport lawyers will find particularly interesting. It will at least give you something to look forward to examining more closely when you get back to your office next week! Join us for this seminar!

I welcome the continuing availability of the daily accounts of happenings at the annual meeting of ACI-NA particularly as I was unable to continue my hitherto regular coverage of it by attending the sessions held. It gives me news of many old friends and acquaintances from the industry and FAA and how changing requirements for environment, security and the current financial crisis as it affects aviation are perceived and responded to.
