The Board of Directors of Airports Council International-North America today passed a Resolution commending the concepts of sustainability into airport planning, construction and everyday operation.
ACI-NA is among a group of aviation organizations that are working together to consolidate existing airport and sustainability guidelines and practices. The group – also known as the Sustainability Aviation Guidance Alliance (SAGA) will unveil a new comprehensive database at 2 p.m. Monday at the ACI-NA Annual Conference.
In its resolution, the Board of Directors commended the SAGA leadership and industry peer reviewers “for making significant voluntary contributions over the last year to ensure development of timely comprehensive airport sustainability tools.”
