ACI-NA Advocates Market-Based Measures to DOT
(July 23, 2002)-The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) posted comments from ACI-NA supporting the use of market-based measures by airports to help alleviate future congestion and address passenger delays at capacity-constrained airports. ACI-NA applauds the DOT for considering market-based principles that promise to add capacity, promote competition, and enhance small community access to the nationwide aviation market.
ACI-NA Releases U.S. Airports Economic Impact Report
(October 8, 2002) – ACI-NA’s President David Z. Plavin released a report on the "Economic Impact of U.S. Airports." The report, based on information collected from ACI-NA member airports in 2001, includes economic statistics and specific growth areas within the United States' aviation system, and highlights our pressing need to address the looming congestion levels.Back to ACI-NA History Main Page
