Public Safety & Security Fall Conference Agenda(PDF) as of September 2, 2010
Conference topics will include:
- Deployment of Advanced Technology: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Although it sounds much like a movie title, the deployment of Advanced Technology at airports has seen its fair share of challenges and heroic activity. As in any drama, partnerships are critical to overcoming obstacles and ensuring the successful completion of objectives, much like the deployment and installation of technology. Learn from TSA and airport panelists as they share their experiences and best practices in working together to deploy Advanced Technology. - Innovative Security Measures
When it comes to security enhancements, airports have implemented many great programs and best practices over the years. The TSA's Innovative Security Measures Project is an initiative to solicit information on and identify policies, procedures, programs, and technologies that enhanced security in the airport operational environment. In the first of this two-part session, Doug Hofsass, Deputy Assistant Administrator for TSA Transportation Sector Network Management, will provide attendees a thorough understanding of the Innovative Security Measures project. In the second session, particpants will hear from airports operators on how their creative initiatives enhanced security.
Other highlights of the conference: - TSA/FAA Departmental Updates
- TSA Unclassified Threat Briefing
